Attorney Bio
I’m Charles J. Tolliver, the Managing Partner at The Law Office of Charles Tolliver, where I bring a wealth of experience and a distinguished academic background to my practice. I earned my Bachelor of Arts from UC Santa Cruz, followed by a Master of Arts from SUNY Albany, and later obtained my Juris Doctor from McGeorge School of Law. Currently, I’m pursuing an LL.M. in Taxation at the University of Baltimore.
With over a decade of legal experience, my key practice areas include real estate, housing and land use, tax, divorce, and general litigation. I’m admitted to practice before the U.S. Federal Tax Court and the Supreme Court of the United States. Prior to establishing my own firm, I gained valuable experience in prestigious roles with the U.S. Department of Justice, TurboTax, and the New York State Assembly, among others.
In addition to my legal practice, I’m dedicated to community impact, actively engaging in pro bono work and serving on the D.C. Bar REHLU Steering Committee.
